Bluevine vs Novo
Bluevine: three plans with per-payment fees, takes cash · Novo: no plans, Express ACH 1.5%, US wires up to $45, no cash
Each account for the month
Each company's published fees. Novo's domestic wire is priced at its fee schedule's ceiling, so a month with wires shows the most Novo would charge. International wires sent are not compared: Novo sends them through its Wise integration, at a fee shown before you confirm. Not in the totals: interest (Bluevine pays 1.3% to 3% APY by plan; Novo pays none) and Novo's optional express check deposits.
Bluevine and Novo fees, side by side
Bluevine's figures run Standard, Plus, Premier. Novo's same-day ACH is a share of the payment, so it costs less than Bluevine's flat fee on smaller payments: under $666.67 against Standard's $10, under $533.34 against Plus's $8 and under $333.34 against Premier's $5; from $1,333.34 Novo charges its $20 cap. For a US wire, Novo publishes only its ceiling, so its exact fee may sit above or below Bluevine's.
Three businesses, priced
Plan fee plus every payment fee, with Bluevine on its cheapest plan for each month. The agency's Novo month is priced at Novo's wire ceiling: Novo costs it less only if Novo's wire fee is under $15.00. The cash business is the case Novo cannot serve at all, because it does not take cash deposits.
