Editorial Policy
How we research, write, review and maintain everything published on TransferFees โ and how we keep the editorial side independent from the way we make money.

Who publishes this content
TransferFees is a comparison publisher, owned and operated by SaaSatura LLC. Our content is produced by the TransferFees editorial operation as an organization; we do not publish under invented personal author names. Responsibility for what appears on the site rests with TransferFees as the publisher โ you can always reach a real person through our contact page.
How we research and source
Our guides and comparisons are built from primary sources wherever possible:
- Providers' own published pricing, fee schedules and product pages for fees, currencies and features.
- Financial regulators and government bodies for rules and definitions โ for example FinCEN, the FCA, the IRS and OFAC.
- The mid-market (interbank) exchange rate as the neutral benchmark we measure every provider's margin against.
Where figures change often โ fees, exchange-rate margins, plan prices โ we describe them as approximate and dated, and we tell you to confirm the current number on the provider's own site before you act. The exact way we calculate and rank cost is set out in our methodology.
Accuracy and updates
Every page carries a "last updated" date, and we revisit pricing-sensitive pages when providers change their terms. We aim to state fees and rates "as of" a point in time rather than imply they are fixed. This is general information to help you compare options โ it is not financial, tax or legal advice, and for decisions specific to your situation you should speak to a qualified, regulated professional.
Independence from commercial
TransferFees earns money from advertising and from affiliate commissions when readers open an account through some of our links. That commercial relationship never buys a better rating, ranking or recommendation. Our comparisons and calculators are driven by cost and fit for the reader, not by which provider pays us.
We explain exactly how we are funded in our advertising disclosure.
Fixing mistakes
We would rather hear that something is wrong than leave it. If you spot an inaccurate fee, an out-of-date figure or a factual error, tell us and we will check it against the source and correct it. Our corrections policy explains how that works and how to report an issue.
