On $500.00 the gap between the cheapest and dearest published route is $23.50. That is the same money, two settings apart.

International local bank: no published rate
Whop describes this route only as "varies". We do not estimate it. If you are paid outside the US, ask Whop what your specific corridor costs before planning around it.

Percentage routes win on small payouts and lose on large ones. Because ACH is flat, ten payouts of $500 cost $25.00 while one payout of $5,000 costs $2.50, so batching is usually worth more than switching method. Payout fees are separate from the processing fee charged when the buyer paid; see the Whop fee calculator.

Why the cheapest route keeps changing

Whop prices payouts two different ways, and mixing the two is what makes the rate card hard to read. Next-day ACH and bank wire are flat, at $2.50 and $23.00, whatever you move. Instant deposit, crypto and Venmo are percentages with a fixed amount on top, so they scale with the payout. This is the second of the two charges on a Whop sale; the first is the processing fee, covered in the Whop fee calculator.

That produces crossover points nobody carries in their head. Instant bank deposit genuinely is cheaper than ACH, but only below $37.50, which is not a payout most creators are making. Crypto and Venmo undercut ACH too, below $30, but never instant deposit. And the routes diverge fast: at $1,000 instant deposit costs $38.50 more than ACH, at $10,000 $398.50 more.

The lever is frequency, not method. Because ACH is flat, ten payouts of $500 cost $25 while one payout of $5,000 costs $2.50. Moving from weekly to monthly draws cuts payout cost by about 77% for no change in what you earn.

The same $1,000, five ways

One balance, five published routes, a $48.50 spread. Next-day ACH is the cheapest route on every payout of $37.50 or more. Below that, instant bank deposit undercuts it.

Assumptions and limits

What this calculator does and does not cover
Whop’s published US-dollar payout rates. Venmo is marked by Whop as US recipients only.
International local bank payouts are listed by Whop as “varies”. The row is shown and deliberately produces no number.
Crypto payouts may also carry a network fee, charged by the chain rather than by Whop, and not part of this calculation.
Payout fees are separate from, and additional to, the processing fee charged when the buyer paid.

Whop payouts: common questions

01

How much does Whop charge to pay out?

It depends entirely on the route. Next-day ACH to a US bank is $2.50 flat. Instant bank deposit over RTP is 4% + $1.00. A bank wire is $23.00 flat. Crypto is 5% + $1.00 and Venmo is 5% + $1.00. There is no single payout fee, and picking the right route for the amount is worth real money.

02

What is the cheapest way to get paid on Whop?

For almost any meaningful balance, next-day ACH at $2.50. It only loses below $37.50, where instant bank deposit's 4% + $1.00 comes to less than $2.50. Crypto also undercuts ACH below $30, before any network fee, but at 5% + $1.00 it always costs more than instant deposit. Above that the flat fee wins and keeps winning: on a $5,000 payout, ACH costs $2.50 against $201 for instant deposit.

03

Is Whop instant payout worth it?

Rarely, on arithmetic alone. Instant bank deposit costs 4% + $1.00, so a $1,000 payout costs $41 against $2.50 for waiting one business day. You are paying $38.50 for a day. That can be the right call if you have a cash-flow reason, but it should be a deliberate choice rather than a default setting.

04

Does Whop charge for crypto payouts?

Yes. It is 5% + $1.00 per successful payout, the highest percentage Whop publishes, level with Venmo at 5% + $1.00. On $1,000 that is $51. The blockchain network fee is a separate matter from Whop's charge. Crypto is a convenience and an access route for creators without US banking rather than a saving: it beats ACH only below $30, and instant bank deposit costs less at every amount.

05

What does a Whop wire transfer cost?

$23.00 per payout, flat. Being flat, it is terrible on small amounts and reasonable on large ones: $23 on a $500 payout is 4.6%, but on $50,000 it is 0.05%. Even so, next-day ACH at $2.50 beats it at every size where both are available, so the wire matters mainly where ACH is not an option.

06

Can I get paid out internationally on Whop?

Whop supports payouts to local banks outside the US and describes the cost only as "varies". No rate is published, so we do not estimate one. The table above marks it as unpriced rather than guessing. If you are outside the US, ask Whop what your specific corridor costs before you build a plan around it.

07

Do payout fees stack with Whop processing fees?

They are separate charges at separate moments, and yes, you pay both. A $100 card sale costs $3.00 in processing, and moving that balance out by ACH costs another $2.50, so the round trip on a single $100 sale is $5.50, or 5.5%. Batching payouts is what keeps that second charge from mattering.
