The takeaway: with no fee, Pangea is often very cheap on major routes — its India and Bangladesh rates are excellent (well under 1%), and Mexico sits around 1.3%. The markup climbs a little on smaller Caribbean and some Asian currencies, and on very small sends (a $50 transfer gets a slightly worse rate than $1,000).
